From the feedback we were given we decided that we would change a few thing such as:
at one point there is a girls scream that we selected because we thought it would be cool to have the scream of the witch but it didnt work so we replaced it with my own scream
there was a shot at the beginning that needed changing becasue there was aman walking through the station that cought your eye
There was a jump cut that needed taking out to increase the flow of the footage
More spacing was needed between the characters when chasing as they are too close together for the next shot to work
there was a second jump cut that could have been improved by changing the shots
and finally we needed to add idents titles and sound from creative commons.

Question 1
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

The usual genres of a teen film are dramas, horrors, or romcoms; the kind of story lines and themes that that target audience can relate to and show more of an interest in. The conventions of these consist of difficult choices, conflict and crime, alienation and a love interest.
For example, our film is based on "Attack The Block" and "The Blair Witch Project" so when comparing the intertextual elements you can see where we have taken characteristics from the characters and conventions of clothing.
The Title sequence occurs at the beginning of a film and is to show the who brought you this film from the director to the distribution company, it also serves as a nice opportunity to introduce the main characters, usually without dialogue and with a backing track that suits the characters and their activity.
We selected elements from the conventions of Attack The Block choosing from their characters aspects the way they dresss and the way they deal with situations and comunicate physically with eachother to create a more in deoth and entising product.
Question 5
Our film was based on London teenagers and therefore so was the traget audience but a film like ours is one that can be loved by a wider range of audience memebers. Screening or product at the cinema was very helpful as it reached the demograpaphic of students and London teenagers nonetheless.
To see the comparison is our characters this is how we are on a normal day in lesson and this was us during the filming process in our characters...

Our movie as previously mentioned is a thriller/horror which has a small niche British audience but that can be as succesful as a blockbuster movie,
Take films like Kidulthood for example a small production solely based on London teenagers that generated a great profit and has a cult following in the film itself and even the actors that played these characters the audience loved to hate.
What I think helped appeal to the audience was that the opening was based on something that occurs often in a teenagers life either picking on someone or being picked on its all relatable and clever for an opening sequence as it grabs the audiences atention from an ealry stage.
I filmed one of our viewers to get his opnion...

Todays lesson
In todays lesson we have been editing our clips and making the ident for the film.
Mid way through editing are teacher came and watched what we had so far and gave us feedback on how we could improve the editing and other shots that we needed.
Some of the verbal feedback that we received:

Some of the verbal feedback that we received:
- Film different shot types as we are lacking a few shots.
- Delete previous shots from the intro because they're not needed.
- Add some sound to the intro.
As well as the editing we have also started making the ident for the film in motion.
We have used a template from the software as we don't have time to figure out how to use it completely and make our own.
Below are screenshots of us editing and the ident being made.

Evidence of filming 1
During this lesson we have filmed the first scene of our teen film. The lesson has been very productive as we have plenty of footage and worked efficiently as a team. The images below are evidence of the team taking turns to film. These shots were taken at Angel station and the bus stop close by. In the upcoming lesson we will go back to filming shots at the other location 'Cool pepper community garden'.
