Teen Films are generally watched by young people aged 14-21, it mostly appears to teenagers because they can relate to the storyline and can identify representations of groups in society.
Our sub genre is Thriller, the audience which will be interested in this genre is probably both males and females as teenagers enjoy heart-pumping thrillers.
My teen film is Thriller and Action based, this makes our target audience more specific due to the content of our film, for example it may be more appealing to boys because of the gang element and it being a Thriller. Because females may prefer seeing girly things such as fashion, make-up and relationship drama.
