Newspaper 
This is a newspaper article,  it is often given out for free at train and bus stations. A lot of teenagers uses trains and buses when they go to school so it is a easy way for me to reach out to them because they could read the newspaper.

Twitter
Twitter is used to reach my audience because the target audience for my teen film is aimed at teenagers and twitter is a popular social networking site that teenagers use, so it is a easy way for me to reach out to them. On twitter they can follow the films page and keep updated on whats going on.

Evaluation of filming 5

From the feedback we were given we decided that we would change a few thing such as:
at one point there is a girls scream that we selected because we thought it would be cool to have the scream of the witch but it didnt work so we replaced it with my own scream
there was a shot at the beginning that needed changing becasue there was aman walking through the station that cought your eye
There was a jump cut that needed taking out to increase the flow of the footage
More spacing was needed between the characters when chasing as they are too close together for the next shot to work
there was a second jump cut that could have been improved by changing the shots
and finally we needed to add idents titles and sound from creative commons.

Evaluation: Question 4.



This is an account of a teenager who would be a part of the target audience for my teen film. The teenager is a fan of the TV series the walking dead which has a lot of violence and action in it which shows that he is a fan of action movies. The teen movie that I have created is an action and horror movie so it will most likely interest this teenager. 
This individual can be seen to be following a lot of different big film distribution and production companies which shows that he is very interested in movies and most probably watches a lot of movies, especially ones that are made by big major companies. 
From what the account seems to be following it seems as if it is a person who spends a lot of time watching film and tv, and as they are a twitter user they are more likely to find out about the new releases of movies online rather than in cinemas. 
The sub genres of my movie is action and horror. Horror movies usually have action in them as well as horror so it may appeal to this individual as action is present in my opening. Also the walking dead has a sense of thriller to it, so horror may appeal to this teenager as horrors give off a similar feel to some thriller movies. The walking dead seems to have a supernatural feel to it to which is evident in my opening which is the witch.

So far we have reached our audience with the cinema preview which was aimed exclusively at media students. Our film opening is also on Vimeo which makes it available for our target audience and not just the media students at college. As our movie is targeted at horror loving teens, it is beneficial to have the opening on vimeo as it is more likely to reach our audience and have a larger number of viewers as it is easily available and isn't only in cinemas where it is restricted to a certain group of people. Also as it is easier to access on vimeo it is easier to come across by people who like other genres of movies however they may feel that it is a film that they would enjoy. This will result in having a bigger audience.

Who would be the audience for your media product ?

This person is a specific member of my target audience because he is in his teens and my film is targeted at teens 16-18. This profile also shows that he is apart of my target audience is because of his interests. He is following a London rapper named 'Fekky' this artist raps about guns, drugs and sex and this is some of the genres that are shown in my media product and this is why my film will be targeted at this member. Another reasons why is because of the programme he watched 'BBC EastEnders' this programme is based in London and so it my teen film which is why this member is specifically targeted.
A teen film is a film directed at teenagers and young adults that has a story based on interests of teenagers. Teenagers and young adults are usually the people that the teen film interesting as they feel as though they can relate to the characters and story line. Usually in a teen movie the genres which are common are horror, romance or action.
The audience more specific to my sub genre are teenagers that are interested in horror and action. The reason for this is because my film consist some aspects of action in the opening scene and throughout the film there is a lot of horror. Two other specific target audiences that my film may interest are teenagers that live in London and are middle class. The reason why i say people that live in London is because the film was filmed in London so the teenagers can relate because some things that may be happening in the film may be happening to them or they may have experienced it. The reason why i said middle class teenagers is because a lot of middle classed people live in London, so again this could relate to them. 
For my USP i have made a twitter page for my film and i have made a banner that can be used on buses. This unique selling point is good for my specific target audience because twitter is now a very popular social networking site that a lot of teenagers use. Secondly i have made a banner for buses for my unique selling point because teenagers take the bus a lot so it can be seen.
